I recommend nail strengthening for a nail plate which is brittle, tearing, splitting into layers or fragile, all of which can result in both an untidy look due to the lack of uniformity in length or shape and pain in the case of breaks and tearing. The extra applied layer can support the nail plate after a minor trauma or damage to fingers or toes. This solution can also help prevent ingrown toenails getting worse. 

• The treatment starts with a shortening of the nail plate, preparing the required length and shape. If it is necessary I remove the unstable nail parts, splits etc. 
• This is followed by smoothing and correcting the cuticle area and cleaning the nail groove (sulcus).
• The soft, transparent gel is applied and a thin layer is spread evenly on the nail plate. The hardener gel holds together and retains the weak natural nail plate.
• The gel needs to be cured under a UV lamp, then fixed and matted, if requested. 

The product is colorless. It lasts for up to 3 weeks on fingernails and 4-6 weeks on toenails. When it is prepared for men, a more natural look can be achieved by matting it at the end of the treatment.

The use of the gel makes it possible to allow the natural nails grow a bit longer thus creating an option to shape them in more varied ways. Applying the system on the toe nails supports even growth, preventing the risk of splitting or ingrown toenails.
