Hypoallergenic CND Shellac gel was developed by chemists and launched in 2010 after five years of research. As the CND co-founder Jan Arnold says: “Women can finally get their time back.” The innovative, long-lasting gel varnish saves women time as it dries quickly, provides them more freedom without any worry about random damage and chipping and, of course, lasts much longer than normal nail varnish, even a high-quality brand. The only reason to change it is because the nails grow or a color change is required. 

CND Shellac combines the durability of coloured gels known from artificial nail extension with the simplicity of traditional varnish but without causing nail damage as it is not necessary to file the natural nail plate before the application and it is easy to remove without using a drill machine. 

It provides an even more resistant top layer and gives your nails long-lasting shine in all the colours of the rainbow. Long waiting-times and the need to be careful until the varnish dries properly after its application are a thing of the past. 

The setting time of the soak-off CND Shellac gel varnish is only 1 minute for each layer under UV light. The result is a glossy, shiny, flexible, resistant colour or French layering lasting up to 14 days on fingernails and up to 4 weeks on toenails. While the finish should remain flawless for this time, the flexible varnish can be damaged by major impacts or trauma.
